The MPS does not carry out the eSC.

CONTEXT
The public expect the MPS to recruit and employ police officers, staff, contractors and volunteers with proven integrity. Police vetting provides a level of assurance as to the integrity of individuals who have access to police information, intelligence, financial or operational police assets or premises. It also serves to reduce the risk of embarrassment or discredit to the MPS.
All roles in the MPS require the holder to have RV/CTC (Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorist Check) clearance. Designated posts require varying levels of enhanced clearance depending on the role being undertaken.
