Am shocked and saddened by the death of PC Palmer. As a regular visitor to London I am always impressed by the professional, helpful and cheerful way your officers carry out their duties. To lose an officer in the line of duty is truly awful and there just are not enough words to express how saddened I am. I just wanted to say what an incredible job your officers did yesterday during the London Terror attack - I was one of many watching the situation unfold on the television. Very organised and professional. I do not think our Police force get enough credit for their job they do. A very sad situation occurred yesterday - as one of your officers sadly passed away in his line of duty, I hope he will be recognised for his act of bravery. Well done officers - you all should be very proud.

As a parliamentarian I'd like to express my appreciation for the actions of Keith Palmer in selflessly putting himself in the path of danger yesterday in order to protect us and the public. His tragic death reminds us of what we all owe our police forces and I would like to extend my condolences to his family.
