Information Fair Trader Scheme
The Met licenses the use of certain of its images, footage and other material for commercial purposes.
Work produced by police staff is copyright of the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC). Work produced by Police Officers is the copyright of the Crown. The Met has been granted a delegation of authority to manage the Crown copyright work of police officers.
The Met has signed up to the Information Fair Trader Scheme (IFTS). The IFTS sets and assesses standards for public sector bodies. It requires them to encourage the reuse of information and reach a standard of fairness and transparency. For more information on the IFTS please visit their website.
