How to tell us about an event or procession
If you’re planning an event or procession, by law you may need to notify us in advance. Whether it’s a festival, show, party, static demonstration or march, we’ll work with you to make sure it goes smoothly.
Coronavirus (Covid-19): If you're organising an event, please check the latest guidance on meeting safety regulations.
I'm planning a static event in a public place
Thank you. In this case, although you don't legally have to tell us, we'd like you to let us know about your event.
We can give you valuable advice to help you make the most of your event.
For instance, we can tell you about any other events, processions or counter-protests being planned for the same area on the same day. To tell us and get this advice, simply click ‘Start’ below to complete our quick and simple online form.
Average completion time: 12 minutes
Please have the following details ready, if possible:
- date and time of the event
- event location
We'll get back to you if we identify possible issues or have further questions.
Please note: if you’re planning to hold an event in Trafalgar Square or Parliament Square we strongly recommend you call the Greater London Authority on 020 7983 4750. They can let you know of any other planned events on the same day that might conflict with yours.Start
