Fireworks are being used inappropriately

Thank you.

If you’re experiencing nuisance noise from a neighbour regularly setting off fireworks on their property, please report this to your local council who'll be able to investigate.

It's against the law to set off fireworks between 11pm and 7am. Exceptions to this are Bonfire Night (midnight and 7am) or New Year’s Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year (1am and 7am).

Likewise, it's against the law to set off or throw fireworks in a public place, or buy 'adult' fireworks if you are under 18.
