Are they in immediate danger?

If the missing person is in immediate danger, such as if they are a young child or vulnerable to harm, call 999 now.

If you do not think this missing person is in immediate danger, please contact us by calling our non-emergency number, 101.

Please have the following information available if possible:

  • Date and time the person was last seen and by whom
  • What they were wearing when they were last seen
  • Their description, such as height, colouring, marks or scars
  • Their address
  • Any family, friends, or places they often go
  • Do they have access to a car? If yes, please have the registration number if possible
  • Other means of transport (do they have an Oyster card?)
  • Any measures or enquiries that have been made to ascertain the person's whereabouts
  • Do they have any vulnerabilities, such as medical needs, disability?
