Welcome to the Metropolitan Police Christmas Tree Appeal 2021. This year we celebrate the Appeal's 10th anniversary.
For the last decade we have been so grateful for the generosity of Londoners who have helped us provide children, who may have otherwise gone without, with presents to open on Christmas morning. Together, we have been able to provide over 116,000 Christmas presents to children in need.
In 2020, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we took the Christmas Tree Appeal online to make sure everyone involved was safe. Thanks to the amazing efforts of our Christmas Tree Appeal partner The Childhood Trust we were able to raise £155,500 and saw 21,998 presents donated.
This year we have nearly 17,000 children (aged from birth to 17 years old) to provide a gift for. These children come from many different backgrounds. Many live in poverty, in refuges or are child carers, and some live in children’s homes. The one thing they all have in common is that they are all children in need living in London.
Thank you for your generous support of our appeal for the last 10 years. Please help us make this anniversary a special one, ensuring that all these children wake up to a present on Christmas morning.
