Salary: The starting salary is £37,289, which includes allowances totalling £2,841. The salary is broken down as £34,448 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £36,864. There is also a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Centre for Initial Recruit Learning to deliver training for recruit police officers.
Using your knowledge and skill along with the training skills provided to you via our Training Essentials Programme, you'll operate at one of our training colleges at Hendon or Sidcup to deliver training for recruit police officers on the Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP) pathway to enable student officers to reach their potential, thrive and flourish in the Met.
If successful in the assessment process, candidates (unless already qualified) will need to complete a three week College of Policing Training Essentials Programme (TEP).
The initial recruit training on the PCEP pathway predominantly works from Monday to Friday encompassing two shifts 7am to 3pm and 2pm to 10pm.
Flexible working applications will be considered. Applications are welcome for those wanting to be considered for part time working and job share, subject to availability.
