Salary: The starting salary is £37,289, which includes allowances totalling £2,841. The salary is broken down as £34,448 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale at £36,864. There is a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

The Communications and Engagement division of the Met is a high-performing unit completely focused on reducing crime, raising standards, and building trust, as well as supporting our operational colleagues.
To help us deliver these missions, we require an extremely organised and high-performing business manager to support the team across a number of workstreams related to HR, finance, change management and learning and development. This will include overall ownership of the relationship between the Communications and Engagement team and our HR and Finance business partners.
You will also take a lead role in the co-ordination and planning of unit wide learning and development in order to build the capability and capacity of the Communications and Engagement team.
Working closely with the director of communications and the wider senior leadership team (SLT), you will lead a number of bespoke initiatives aimed at improving our processes and ensuring we are run as efficiently as possible.
This is a challenging role working with senior leaders in an extremely high-profile organisation at a time of significant change, so flexibility and determination are a must.
