The London Emergency Services Liaison Panel

The Major Incident Procedure Manual contains information about what each of the emergency services and local authorities will do during a major incident in London.

Every incident is different and the procedures outlined in the manual are designed to act as a framework for the emergency services to work together for maximum efficiency.

The manual is published by London Resilience Group on behalf of the London Resilience Forum.

The London Emergency Services Liaison Panel (LESLP) was formed in 1973 and is made up of representatives from:

• the Met
• City of London Police
• British Transport Police
• London Fire Brigade
• London Ambulance Service
• local authorities

The Port of London Authority, Maritime and Coastguard Agency, the Military and voluntary sector are also represented.
