STRIDE is the Met’s strategy for inclusion, diversity and engagement. This strategy sets out how as an organisation we will ensure that everyone who lives, works and visits London feels and stays safe. It also outlines how our people can flourish to their full potential and how as an ethical and fair organisation we will attract Londoners in all their diversity to work for us.
The STRIDE strategy focuses on our four programmes for Protection, Engagement, Equality and Learning and the 16 commitments within them.
The strategy has been translated into seven of the most commonly-spoken languages in London, making it accessible to as many Londoners as possible (downloads below).
Every year a new action plan is published, which will set out how each commitment will be achieved.
