Speaking at the Institution of Technology and Engineering in London on Tuesday 10 January, Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley delivered a speech about his mission for the Met of More Trust, Less Crime High Standards.
In an address to Londoners, police officers and stakeholders, Sir Mark spoke of the future of the Met and of wider policing. He spoke about the challenges and opportunities policing faces today, as well outlining how the Met has begun its plan to reform and renewing policing by consent some 200 years after its invention to ensure the service is fit for the modern age.
