Officers concerned: Former PC's Michael Salmon and Neil Churchley
Date of hearing: 31 January 2025
The chair, Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor, found that both former officers had breached the Professional Standards of Discreditable Conduct and Honesty and Integrity. It was found that these breaches amounted to gross misconduct.
If they had still been serving, both former officers would have been dismissed. They were immediately added to the barred list.
