Between 22 December 2021 and 19 June 2022, PC Denny engaged in a course of conduct that amounted to harassment and/or stalking of Female A in breach of the Code of Ethics and/or breach of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
In particular, PC Denny messaged Female A repeatedly and tried to contact her despite it being made clear she did not want him to do so. On 22 December 2021, PC Denny slashed Female A's car tyre, being harassing behaviour and/or amounted to an offence of criminal damage.
PC Denny's behaviour was in breach of the following standards under the Code of Ethics:
