Officer concerned: Officer A
Dates of hearing: 7 to 8 January 2025
On or around 14 October 2021, it was alleged Officer A struck her son, then aged 11, with a coat hanger.
It was alleged that in doing so, Officer A breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour as set out in Regulation 5 and Schedule 2 of the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020, namely Discreditable Conduct.
The allegation of Discreditable Conduct was found proven at Misconduct only.
Officer A was served with a written warning to remain live for 18 months.
