Officer concerned: DC Gordon Irikefe
Dates of hearing: 20 February 2025
DC Irikefe faced the allegation that on the 17th April whilst off-duty at a football game in Munich he was arrested for a "masking" offence due to wearing a full balaclava and sunglasses and charged 100 Euros.
It was further alleged that on the same date CCTV from the Stadium shows that DC Irikefe lit and threw a pyrotechnic whilst in the crowd.
The Chair found the allegations proven and determined that DC Irikefe had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of 'Discreditable Conduct' to a level of Gross Misconduct.
DC Irikefe was dismissed without notice at the conclusion of the hearing.
