Summary

It was alleged that between 2013 and 2019 PC Begum posted discriminatory and/or offensive comments on her Twitter account such as to breach the Standards of Professional Behaviour, which pertained to Equality and Diversity and Discreditable Conduct.

Decision

The panel concluded that the only appropriate sanction was dismissal without notice.
