Trainee Detective Constable Mohamed Hassen answered the following allegations:
Allegation 1
Between 25 October 2021 and 31 January 2022 TDC Mohamed Hassen acted without respect and courtesy, discriminated unlawfully and acted in a manner likely to bring discredit upon the police service, in that he made inappropriate and/or sexualised comments to witness 2.
Allegation 2
Between 1 January 2022 and 12 June 2022 TDC Mohamed Hassen acted without respect and courtesy, discriminated unlawfully and acted in a manner likely to bring discredit upon the police service, in that he made inappropriate and/or sexualised comments to witness 1.
Allegation 3
It was alleged that on 11 June 2022 TDC Mohamed Hassen acted without respect and courtesy, discriminated unlawfully and acted in a manner likely to bring discredit upon the police service, in that he said 'fuck you' to witness 1.
The Panel led by the Legally Qualified Chair, Ms Ini Udom, found Allegations 1 and 2 proven and breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Authority, Respect and Courtesy, Equality and Diversity and Discreditable Conduct and that these breaches amounted to Gross Misconduct.
Allegation 3 was not proven.
