Officer concerned: PC Wilson De Almeida

The gross misconduct hearing of PC Wilson De Almeida, based at Central West (AW) Basic Command Unit, concluded on Friday, 13 September 2024.
The hearing took place in person at Empress State Building, West Brompton, London. PC Wilson De Almeida attended alongside his Federation Representative, PC Shaun Robinson.
The allegations were that PC Wilson De Almeida breached the Standards of Professional behaviour relating to:
The legally qualified chair, Ms Evis Samupfonda, and panel members Detective Superintendent Katherine Goodwin and independent panel member Dr Howard Freeman considered all of the evidence presented.
The panel found that the officer had committed gross misconduct in relation to allegation one and misconduct only in relation to allegation two. Allegation three was found not proven.
PC De Almeida received a final written warning, live for five years.
