Date of hearing: 28 November 2024
PC Zaman faced the following allegations:
It was alleged that on the 3 June 2024 PC Zaman kicked and struck his bathroom door, resulting in damage.
It was further alleged that this was done in the knowledge that this violence would cause fear to those that had locked themselves inside the bathroom.
The Chair found the allegations that PC Zaman faced proven, in that he had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of 'Discreditable Conduct', and that this breaches amounted to Gross Misconduct.
PC Zaman was dismissed without notice at the conclusion of the hearing.
