Officer concerned: Former PC Costas Maruszczyk
Date of hearing: 12 November 2024
Whilst being a serving member of the Metropolitan Police Service, it is alleged former PC Costas Maruszczyk sexually assaulted and attempted sexual assault on a Police Student. It is also alleged he made inappropriate and sexualised comments to his fellow class students between January 2022 and February 2022.
The panel found the allegations of Discreditable Conduct and Authority, Respect and Courtesy proven at Gross Misconduct. Had he still been a serving officer he would have been dismissed without notice
