Officer concerned: Former Special Constable Anthony Peltier
Date of hearing: 2 August 2024
Former Special Constable Peltier, who was based at Frontline Policing Headquarters, faced allegations that his conduct amounted to a breach of Standards of professional Behaviour, in respect of ‘Discreditable Conduct’.
Anthony Peltier became a special constable in 2005. It is alleged that whilst serving as a special constable and during his employment as head teacher at a primary school (up to and including his resignation from that role in March 2018), FSC Peltier sexually harassed several female members of school staff by touching them inappropriately and/or making sexual comments to them.
The Chair found all the allegations proven at Gross Misconduct and issued a sanction that had Mr Peltier still been a serving officer, he would have been dismissed. He will now be added to the College of Policing Barred list.
