Summary

Mr T was based within the North East Command Unit answered allegations that his conduct amounted to breached of the Standard of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:

• Authority, Respect and Courtesy
• Equality and Diversity

It was alleged that on 11 August 2022 Mr T spoke in a sexually derogatory manner about a local female Councillor.

It was further alleged that on 11 August 2022 whilst on a police minivan and on 14 August 2022 at Ilford Police Station, Mr used racial derogatory comments.

Decision

The Panel found all the allegations proven at a level of Gross Misconduct.

Mr T would have been dismissed without notice if still serving. Mr T will now be added to the College of Policing Barred list.
