Summary

The Misconduct Hearing of former Officer A and former Detective Constable Daniel Roberts, both formerly based at the Counter Terrorism Command concluded on 4 July 2024.

Allegations of Gross Misconduct were found proven against former Officer A and former DC Daniel Roberts, amounting to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of:

  • Discreditable Conduct

The panel, chaired by Ms. Eileen Herlihey, Legally Qualified Chair, considered all of the evidence and found the following:

Former Officer A and former DC Daniel Roberts were found to have breached the standards of professional behaviour in relation to Discreditable Conduct at the level of Gross Misconduct.

Decision

Former Officer A and former DC Daniel Robert would have been dismissed without notice had they been serving officers.
