Amanda Fanning, based within Central North Command Unit, will answer allegations that her conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
- Authority, Respect and Courtesy
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Orders and Instructions
It is alleged that the officer:
- failed to attend work at the MIST offices at Kentish Town Police Station
- failed to attend work at the MIST office on a uniformed officer shift pattern and altered her CARMS booking-on and booking-off times and/or dates
- failed to attend a conversion course and/or order police uniform
- breached restrictions following a Notice of Investigation
- refused to attend aid
- failed to treat police colleagues with respect and courtesy
In acting this way, it is alleged that the officer has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour and that this conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.
The identity of victims/witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
