Police Constable Mohammad Osmaan will answer allegations that his conduct amounted to breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
It is alleged that on multiple occasions, PC Mohammad Osmaan used his personal mobile phone to take and/or retain photographs relating to operational policing matters, without having a legitimate policing purpose.
It is alleged that on 21 February 2019 PC Mohammad Osmaan has misused the police computer systems by carrying out a search without legitimate policing purpose.
It is alleged that between 2017 and 2019, PC Osmaan kept an MPS issued police baton at his home address without authorisation to do so and failed to return it to MPS premises.
It is alleged that the conduct set out above amounts to gross misconduct, namely a breach of the standards of professional behaviour that, if proved, is so serious as to justify dismissal.
