Former Police Constable Franco Cano-Garcia, based within Central West Command Unit, will answer allegations that his conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
It is alleged that FPC Cano-Garcia on, 19 December 2022, left work early claiming to be suffering from a migraine and travelled to his ex-partner’s home address unannounced.
It is alleged that FPC Cano-Garcia harassed his ex-partner by repeatedly demanding to speak to her and refusing to leave her address, despite her being ill with Covid.
It is alleged that in acting this way FPC Cano-Garcia has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour and that this conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.
The identity of victims/witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
