Misconduct hearing for TDC Pierce Lynch and TDC Jessica Martin

TDC Pierce Lynch and TDC Jessica Martin attached to Central East Basic Command Unit (BCU) will answer allegations that their conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of:
- Discreditable Conduct
It is alleged that on the 16 November 2022 TDC Lynch and TDC Martin:
- Together, engaged in consensual sexual activity on police premises (whilst off duty) which was witnessed by their colleagues.
The matter set out above, if proven, is said to amount to gross misconduct, in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.
The identity of victims/witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
If you wish to apply to attend the hearing you must book no later than 1pm the previous working day. This is to allow for sufficient time to process the application. Any requests received after this time will be unable to be processed in time for the hearing and therefore will be rejected.
