Police Constable Liam Williams, based at South West Area Command Unit, will answer allegations that his conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
Authority, Respect and Courtesy
Equality and Diversity
PC Williams faces six separate allegations including allegations of making inappropriate sexual and discriminatory remarks and actions to fellow police officers and members of the public.
It is further alleged that between 4 May 2021 and 6 October 2021, PC Williams frightened members of the public by stomping and shouting in front of them.
It is alleged that in acting this way PC Liam Williams breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of ‘Authority, Respect and Courtesy’, ‘Equality and Diversity’ and ‘Discreditable Conduct’.
It is further alleged that his conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct and is so serious as to justify dismissal.
