It is alleged that the conduct of PC Joseph Ellis has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour, as follows:
PC Ellis’s actions as set out above constitute a serious departure from the Standards of Professional Behaviour as detailed above and contained within Regulation 5 and Schedule 2 to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020, and therefore amount to gross misconduct.
As a result of that stated herein, if proven, PC Ellis’s conduct amounts to gross misconduct and is so serious as to justify dismissal.
If you wish to apply to attend the hearing you must book no later than 1pm the previous working day. This is to allow for sufficient time to process the application. Any requests received after this time will be unable to be processed in time for the hearing and therefore will be rejected.
The identity of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
