It is alleged that between October 2018 and May 2020 PC Hetheecharan stored the contact information of a female victim of crime and used it to attempt to form an inappropriate sexual or emotional relationship with her, and, that on 16 May 2020 he dishonestly claimed to be engaged in policing work in order to attempt to gain access to her home.
It is alleged that in doing so the following standards of professional behaviour have been breached:
The matter set out above is alleged to amount to gross misconduct in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.
