1. Does the MPS have any agreement with TfL regarding its fleet accessing the expanded ULEZ zone?

a. Of this, what percentage of the ‘frontline’ (e.g., vehicles used for response, protection, investigation, etc) is non-ULEZ compliant?

Q1 - Does the MPS have any agreement with TfL regarding its fleet accessing the expanded ULEZ zone?
We have a memorandum of understanding which is available to view on the official MOPAC website.

Q2 - What percentage of the MPS fleet is non-ULEZ complaint?
4.2%.
Q2a - Of this, what percentage of the ‘frontline’ (e.g., vehicles used for response, protection, investigation, etc) is non-ULEZ compliant?
3.5%.
Q3 - To date, how many non-ULEZ compliant vehicles has the MPS replaced from its fleet?
In 2016 we had 3719 ULEZ non-compliant vehicles. We currently have 224 ULEZ non-compliant vehicles.
Q3a - What is the total cost of this replacement thus far?
No additional cost to replace these vehicles. There is no special budget for compliance - the MPS fleet costs are published annually.
Q4 - Based on current planning, how many non-ULEZ compliant vehicles is the MPS planning on replacing?
We will not replace the historical fleet but all operational non-ULEZ compliant vehicles will be replaced.
Q4a - What is the current estimated cost of the current non-ULEZ compliant replacement plan?
There is no special budget for replacing operational non-ULEZ compliant vehicles - the MPS fleet replacement cost are published annually.
