Recently the Evening Standard published the following:
“The statistics show that 268 new allegations of “police-perpetrated violence against women and girls” have been made in the six months since the start of September when Sir Mark Rowley took over as Commissioner.”
I’d be grateful if you could provide a breakdown of these allegations; The following are my suggestions and I appreciate you may wish to provide your own headings:
Allegations of sexual assault made by female MPS officers/staff against male MPS officers/staff.
Allegations of sexual assault made by female members of the public against male MPS officers/staff. (not to include allegations linked to use of force).
Allegations of inappropriate behaviour made by female MPS officers against male MPS officers/staff.
Allegations of inappropriate behaviour made by female members of the public against male MPS officers/staff.
Allegations of domestic violence/coercive control made by wives/partners/girlfriends against male husbands/partners/boyfriends who are MPS officers/staff.
Allegations of excessive use of force by MPS officers/staff against female members of the public/suspects. (allegations of sexual assault during use of force/restraint should be indicated).
