1. The number of data breaches the MPS has recorded from 2019 onwards, broken down by year.

2. The number of requests sent via the Data Portal since its inception in March 2019. Please provide figures broken down by calendar year.

Q1 - The number of data breaches the MPS has recorded from 2019 onwards, broken down by year.

2019 - 162
2020 - 317
2021 - 398
2022 - 439

Q2 - The number of requests sent via the Data Portal since its inception in March 2019. Please provide figures broken down by calendar year.

The Data Portal was only created in March 2022, therefore we can only provide data from March 2022 not dating all the way back to 2019.

There has been 37,888 requests sent since 11/03/2022 to today.
