Q1 - How many police officers and staff in your force have been reported for coercive control from January 2018 to December 2022?
There were 148 police officers and staff in the MPS reported for coercive control from January 2018 to December 2022.
Q2 - How many of these reports resulted in any sort of professional disciplinary action of an officer or staff member?
There were 16 reports that resulted in any sort of professional disciplinary action of an officer or staff member.
Q3 - How many of these reports resulted in a conviction of an officer/staff member?
There were 3 reports that resulted in a conviction of an officer/staff member.
Q4 - How many of these reported officers/staff were removed/dismissed from the job?
There were 12 officers/staff removed/dismissed.
Q5 - How many of these reported officers/staff members are still part of your force?
There are 119 officers/staff that have remained within the MPS. Of the 119, 67 have cases are ongoing.
