How many exit interviews have been given to transgender officers?
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
What Transgender policies does the Met have?
The MPS doesn’t currently have a standalone policy, or policies, for transgender officers or staff within the Met. However the MPS is currently in the process of reviewing all policies which do include transgender individuals.
What transgender training is done for senior management and officers?
There is nothing held centrally in the MPS in relation to specific training. Training is provided on an ad hoc basis.
How many exit interviews on average do Inspector's do for resigning officers?
The MPS currently has an exit survey in place rather than exit interviews for officers who have resigned. It is not possible to identify the rank of the line manager, only the rank of the survey participant from the survey data. Interviews, following the completion of the exit survey, are being brought in and are expected to start in May 2023 for some officers.
What is the criteria for an exit interview?
The exit survey is sent to all those who have submitted a voluntary resignation, within 48 hours of the system being updated with their resignation.
How many exit interviews have been given to transgender officers?
The survey statistics currently show a nil return for transgender officers. However as the survey has been designed so individual’s anonymity is protected, the number of transgender officers who have participated could be between 0 and 9, as data is only reported on for groups where there have been 10 or more responses.
