I note you seek access to the following information:

1. Is there a speed tolerance on the fixed cameras used in your force area, and if so, what is the tolerance? For example, 10% + 2mph.

2. How many fixed speed cameras are installed in your force area?

3. How many fixed speed cameras in your force area are
a) permanently turned on,
b) permanently turned off and
c) temporarily in use?

Q1 - is there a speed tolerance on the fixed cameras used in your force area, and if so, what is the tolerance? For example, 10% + 2mph.

The MPS enforcement threshold for fixed safety enforcement cameras is 10% plus 2mph.

Q2 - How many fixed speed cameras are installed in your force area?

We can confirm that there are a total of 922 installed fixed speed cameras within the Metropolitan Police Force district/jurisdiction.

Q3 - How many fixed speed cameras in your force area are
a) permanently turned on,
b) permanently turned off and
c) temporarily in use?

Information not held by Met Police. Transport for London (TfL) - FOI - Make a request is responsible for safety enforcement cameras within the MPS district and may accordingly hold information that is relevant to your request and we advise that you contact them direct for this part of your request.
