I note you seek access to the following information:

I am requesting access to the data that shows "Oriental" race-related hate crimes from September 2020 until the end of 2021.

It would also be helpful to have the race-related hate crime data for all other ethnic minority groups for this time period.

Please Note:
Since March 2021 the MPS were instructed to not show individual Officer defined IC codes because it was causing issues with releasing data, but to group them into an approved list, so that IC4 & IC5 become Asian.”

IC Codes:
IC1 - White - North European.
IC2 - White - South European.
IC3 - Black.
IC4 - Asian (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal).
IC5 - Chinese, Japanese, or other Southeast Asian.
IC6 - Arab or North African.
