I am contacting you following some information published on the number of catalytic converter thefts in the UK since 2019.

I’m writing to request an FOI to ask for specific figures on the thefts that have taken place in south east London boroughs between 2019-2022.

To add further context and comparison ability, I have also included all reported Catalytic Converter thefts in the Metropolitan Police District broken down by borough for the requested time period.

Also please note that the figures provided also include relevant offences recorded by Aviation Policing. Aviation Policing work in partnership with Heathrow and London City airports to provide a safe and secure environment for the airport community and travelling public. Therefore these figures are not assigned to any specific London Borough.
