There is a website (https://www.chairoffice.co.uk) which sells office furniture and advertises the Metropolitan Police as one of its previous customers.

I wanted to know whether this was true, or whether it was just a case of deceptive marketing. Obviously you will have much more important things to be dealing with, so I do not expect to hear back from you soon (if at all), which is completely fair enough.

However, any information you could share on this matter would be greatly appreciated as I wanted to get to the bottom of this and find out if the website in question is a scam or not.

MPS records show https://www.chairoffice.co.uk have never been a recognised supplier for our furniture contracts through any continuing trading relationship either past or present.

The MPS will however contact the company to determine the providence of their claim.
