Freedom of information request reference no: 01.FOI.23.028069
I note you seek access to the following information:
REQUEST 1:
Sirs - is it an offence for a retired Met Police officer to send information associated with a non-police matter on notepaper marked; METROPOLITAN POLICE SREVICE - MEMO (underlined) Book 125?
This appears to be an act calculated to suggest that he is an active member of the Met police by using a document of identification usually issued to members of police forces when he is no longer a serving officer. Thanks.
REQUEST 2:
Is it standard procedure for a serving Police Officer to contact a member of the public using 'Metropolitan Police Service Memo Book 250' printed notepaper, on an issue which has no connection with any Police investigation? Thanks.
