Following the receipt of your request searches were conducted with Language & Cultural Services (LCS).

LCS is responsible for the delivery of linguistic services within the MPS. This includes translation and interpreting services. With over 300 Languages and a vast range of diverse cultural requirements, Language & Cultural Services supports victims, witnesses and suspects of crime by ensuring they can effectively communicate with us 24/7, 365 days a year.

Q1 - Can you please provide me with the amount spent on Translator's in 2022

Translators total for 2022 = £1,668,729.94

Q2 - Can you please provide me with the amount spent on Interpreters in 2022.

Interpreters total for 2022 = £4,568,838.70

Q3 - Could you specify in both cases the five nationalities where most costs were incurred in both categories.
