I note you seek access to the following information:
I would like some up to date information about custody suites within the Met
1) Can you please list the Mets current custody suites, in addition to the amount of cells within each
2) If possible, the amount of times a contingency suite has been open and accepting prisoners in the last 2 years.
3) If there are any plans to close, or open new custody suites. And if there are any plans to refurbish custody suites.
Can you please provide the number of custody records created by each of you custody suites within the last 10 years (OR the most amount of years possible before 10). Can this include suites that have been closed and/or contingency.

Q2 - If possible, the amount of times a contingency suite has been open and accepting prisoners in the last 2 years.
There is no central record kept of each time a contingency suite is opened therefore this information is not held by the MPS.
Q3 - If there are any plans to close, or open new custody suites. And if there are any plans to refurbish custody suites.
Hammersmith is opening in October with 30 cells, at which time Hounslow will become a contingency suite, and one floor at Charing Cross, 11 cells, will become a contingency suite.
Closures and refurbishments are set to be completed by year end 2020. There are no further closures or refurbishments scheduled at this time.
