Servicing MPS's diesel Ford transit custom vans

I note you seek access to the following information:

The Metropolitan Police use Diesel Ford Transit Custom vans in their London operations which are maintained on their behalf by Babcock Critical Services. Correct servicing of these vehicles is imperative to ensure reliable operation.

1 - Please could you advise which make, grade and specification of engine oils you used for servicing Ford Transit Custom vans between January 2019 and now. Does this oil meet Ford WSS-M2C950-A specifications?

2 - Are genuine Ford parts used (filters etc) for servicing?

3 - Babcock's service records show "A" and "B" services on Police Diesel Transit Custom vans. Please provide a list of what is covered as standard in each of these services.

Please find below information pursuant to your request above.

Q1 - Please could advise which make, grade and specification of engine oils used for servicing Ford Transit Custom vans between January 2019 and now. Does this oil meet Ford WSS-M2C950-A specifications?

Castrol Magnatec SAE 0W-30 and Titan Super Syn F Eco-FE 0W-30. Both of these oils meet Ford specifications.

Q2 - Are genuine Ford parts used (filters etc) for servicing?

Genuine oil filters are used on all Ford Transit custom 2.0l eco blue.

Q3 - Babcock's service records show "A" and "B" services on Police Diesel Transit Custom vans. Please provide a list of what is covered as standard in each of these services.

The A / B service regime is in line with Ford servicing parameters.
A - Service includes engine oil and filter change and pollen filter replaced.
B - Service includes engine oil and filter change, air, fuel and pollen filters replaced.
All of the above servicing includes full brake inspection and suspension / steering checks.
