Freedom of information request reference no: 01.FOI.22.025904
I note you seek access to the following information:
I would like to know how much money the Metropolitan Police has spent in calendar year 2021/2022 on:
1) Design & production of car graphics and wraps featuring content and symbolism related to Pride month, Pride and Transgender rights.
2) Fitting and/or installation of these graphics and wraps.
3) Removal and/or replacement of these graphics and wraps.
I would also like to know whether this money was spent from an allocated budget or from general expenses.
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
For 2021:
Pride did not run due to COVID restrictions and therefore there was no expense paid for any vehicles to have wraps etc.
For 2022:
The MPS did not use any vehicles in the Pride parade in 2022 as those participating were from Staff Support Association – the MPS LGBT+ Network.
The MPS did not wrap any vehicles (operational or in the parade itself). Therefore the spend was £0.
