Freedom of information request reference no: 01.FOI.22.026190
I note you seek access to the following information:
Misconduct Hearing decision reports where the LQC was Judith Gribble in the last four years?
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
The MPS records only go back 3 years and in that time LQC Judith Gribble is shown as presiding over 8 hearings. However, 7 of these hearings were under the 2012 Police Conduct Regulations meaning the panels rationale is not published as the regulations do not allow for it. Regulation 36 of the Police Conduct Regulations lists those entitled to receive a copy and they are listed as follows:
The officer
The Appropriate Authority
The IOPC (if involved)
Any designated interested party (i.e. complainant if there is one).
Conversely the Police Conduct regulations 2020 do allow for the panels rationale to be published and this can be found under regulation 43(6). One 2020 regulations case that Judith Gribble has presided over which was published on the MPS website for 28 days.
