Officers who identify as LGBT+ or as a non-cis gender identity working in the MPS

I note you seek access to the following information:

A dataset showing the number of officers who identify as LGBT+ or as a non-cis gender identity working in the Met Police over the last ten years.

The list should be formatted as follows:
The year should be the X axis, one year per column, starting with 2012 and ending with 2022. If records for 2022 are not complete, the X axis should end with 2021. If records had not begun in 2012, the X axis should begin with the year that records began.

The Y axis should be the different identities, which should include each gender identity and sexual orientation that the Met Police records for officers. A total row should also be included.

Decision

I have today decided to disclose some of the requested information. The MPS only started to record the data in October 2019 so there are no records held prior to this date.

It is up to an individual to choose whether they self-declare their gender identity and/or sexual orientation, so the numbers below are only based on those that do and may not be reflective of the Met as a whole.
