Non-academic job titles of paid employees in the MPS in 2021/22

I note you seek access to the following information:

This is a freedom of information (FOI) request relating to non-academic job titles of paid employees at your institution.

Please provide the following information for the year 2021-22:

• A comprehensive list of employee job titles which feature any of the following phrases: equality, diversity, inclusion, wellbeing, carbon, energy, net zero, climate, change maker, race, BAME, LGBTQ+, sustainability, art, awareness, involvement, culture, solidarity, intersectionality, or green.

• The total number of employees with each job title.

• A total cost for the listed roles, including salary and employer pension contributions.

There is no need to provide individually identifiable data.

This request is not intended to capture academic roles, so please exclude them, for example ‘Lecturer in Art History’.

Regarding questions 1 & 2 the attached spreadsheet answers these:

Q1 - A comprehensive list of employee job titles which feature any of the following phrases: equality, diversity, inclusion, wellbeing, carbon, energy, net zero, climate, change maker, race, BAME, LGBTQ+, sustainability, art, awareness, involvement, culture, solidarity, intersectionality, or green.

Q2 - The total number of employees with each job title.

Q3 - A total cost for the listed roles, including salary and employer pension contributions.

The answer to question 3 is between £3,852,700.00 and £4,533,666.00. The majority of jobs/roles have a salary range, so that is why we have provided a range for the total cost. The costs include Basic Pay, Location Allowance, Employer NI, Employee NI and Employer Pension Contribution.
