The MPS has policed 10 events that were connected to the murder of Sarah Everard. The total costs are recorded as £1,082,143 which consist of opportunity costs of £766,250.
It should be noted that the employee costs that form part of the figures provided, are based on the MPS ready reckoner which sets out the average pay costs for police officers and police staff by rank and grade.
