Since 2005, the number of reports your force has received of unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl aged between 13 and 16, contrary to section 6 of the Sexual Offences Act 1956, where the incident was alleged to have occurred at any point between 1956 and 2003.

Data was requested for offences of Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with a Girl Aged Between 13 and 16, contrary to Section 6 of the Sexual Offences Act of 1956. This data is recorded on CRIS under the following Home Office Classification Code, sitting under Crimsec 22:
022/00 - Unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl under 16.
However, this code was made redundant in 2004 following the 2003 Sexual Offences Act, so no data was returned. Instead, a search was made using the following Home Office Classification Codes, which sit under Crimsec 22A and 22B:
022/06 - Sexual activity with a child under 16 (female child, offender 18 or over at time of offence - penetration).
022/12 - Sexual activity with a child under 16 (female child, offender under 18 at time of offence - penetration).

The Committed Date of the Offences was set between 01/01/1956 and 31/12/2003 yet recorded by the police from 2005 to the last full month of data that can be provided (March 2022).
195 offences were identified.

The offences relate to children aged 13-15 at the time of offence, as there are a separate set of offences (sitting under the same Crimsec Code, 22A and 22B) that relate to children aged under 13.
